The time of mercy is running out and the time for repentance is coming to an end. Why should the Father keep shouting? Why should the Good Shepherd keep searching? Yet, the father gives another chance. He sends the Woman and her voice goes forth. The final opportunity has not yet been lost. Hope remains only because the Father has chosen the Woman to be the final herald of His Son. Hers is now the voice crying in the desert, “Prepare for my Son for He will surely come and save.”
